The ACPE conference is a chance for IT professionals to connect as peers by collaborating and sharing their knowledge, expertise and skills. Your involvement as an ACPE member is foundational to our success in developing a great conference program.
The ACPE Board is now accepting session proposals for the May 2022 annual conference, scheduled May 4-6 at Mt. Hood Oregon Resort in Welches, Ore. Only ACPE members and/or those who are employed by an educational institution are eligible to speak; sponsor/vendor proposals and others who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
These proposals are for attendees only. If you are a sponsor, please submit your session proposal here
Initial selections begin in mid-January. The Board has approved an extra incentive for presenters accepted February 1 to speak in either a Session or Workshop: these presenters are provided priority in conference registration and hotel room reservations at the resort. This incentive does not apply to Panels or Think Tank sessions. The board will consider proposals submitted between Dec. 31 and March 1 as space allows.
We encourage our members to propose a topic in one or more of the formats below. Feel free to make multiple submissions if you have more than one idea to propose.
Speaker presents on a relevant topic.
Three or more people with expertise discuss a topic of interest from multiple perspectives
In-depth session on a more complicated subject matter. Hands-on participation is highly encouraged.
A facilitated and open-ended discussion on a topic that is currently pressing, timely and relevant.
Timeline for Review
We ask that you submit your proposals by Dec. 31; the final deadline is March 1. Initial selections and confirmations for our published schedule will be made by the Board by the third week in January. Our schedule will be posted on the 2022 conference website on a rolling basis starting in mid-March.
This form remains open until March 1. The Board consideration for the conference program will continue through March 15. The final conference program will be completed and published on April 1.
